Cold, Bright Oxford.

Library. Snapped these on my way home from the library. I did some work in the Vere Harmsworth this morning as I felt like a change from the Bodleian where I usually go. I'm trying to get as much of my dissertation done as I can before the semester starts up again as it is going to be crazy busy being my last semester. I can't believe I'm almost ready to graduate! Still no idea what I am going to end up doing, but I'll get there. 

We finally had some sun in Oxford today as you can see by my squinting and frowning! It is still bloody cold though, hence the faux fur!

Comme ci, comme ça.

Friday. Today I haven't done much, really need to get some dissertation work done as I'm supposed to be sending a chapter off to my supervisor soon. These are a couple of recent purchases from Asos - Comme ci comme ca tshirt and these amazing pair of black high-waisted tailored looking trousers. I found them in the sale and they only had a size 6 left so they are a bit of a squeeze but worth it!

I'm off to Manchester next weekend to visit a friend, anyone got any recommendations for what to see, shop, eat there?

Style. If anyone has it, it's Asos. They have been my favourite one-stop style shop for years. What I love most about Asos is that they really do cater for everyone, regardless of shape, age, budget you can find something that suits your needs! My Asos 'saved items' is my favourite and least favourite thing. I love that I can save my favourite things to go back to and look at, esoecially if I'm too skint to buy them as soon as I see them, but it is a dangerous place as many things, many many things find their way there, and then of course, I want them all! Here are just a few of the things currently lingering in my 'saved items' list!

WISH LIST # 1

Here are 10 things I want right now. There are some things on here I won't be getting, like the Ganni dress which is sadly too expensive. I love it so much though, it reminds me of Mad Men! Things I might get soon are the liquid gold, NARS tinted moisturiser and Dr. Lipp. I tried both the Dr. Lipp and NARS tinted moisturiser in Space NK the other day when I was in Chester and loved both! I had been thinking about NARS sheer glow foundation but when I tried it I wasn't convinced I wanted to spend the money, and surprisingly I really loved the tinted moisturiser and think it is a gap that needs filling in my make up collection, especially for summer and holidays! I've been on the look out for a new medium sized bag for shopping and days out etc. I have the Zara Office City Bag which I love but don't want to ruin or break too quickly because I use it for uni and carry lots of books around in it! Plus it's too big for days out and shopping. The ASOS scotty dog bag caught my eye, even though I was looking for a brown bag, but I haven't made any decisions yet.

So it was my 23rd birthday yesterday (yikes!) and this is what I wore out in the evening for celebratory cocktails (passionfruit and vanilla mojitos, yum) and american diner style food. I got the necklace from my boyfriend for my birthday and the shoes I got for myself. I love the brightness, I wanted to go for something completely different and these are ideal for summer and holidays! They were £40 with my student discount which put me off for a while but a few days before my birthday I automatically went *click click click* and they were on their way to me! Oops! They are really comfy though which is good because I can wear them day or night and get my money's worth! With some birthday money I bought the matching top and skirt, I have been eyeing up these matching top and skirt sets which seem to be popular this summer. The picture doesn't do them justice at all, the material is a really nice texture and gives them a more expensive feel perfect for evening wear, but because they are separate I will be mixing and matching. The make up was pretty standard, I nipped into Superdrug and bought a cheap MUA lipstick in a nude colour and I'm actually really impressed with it, for a super cheap range the stuff is quite good!

A lovely birthday was had with my family and boyfriend at home (:
