Lazy Tart(an).

Oversize batwing jumper - Asos, tartan leggings - missguided, chelsea boots - Asos.
Lazy. Leggings and an oversize comfy jumper are the perfect combo for a lazy day. Even though I snapped these at home I was going out so couldn't go for ultimate comfort in PJs or sweatpants!

What is your favourite 'lazy' outfit?

Cold, Bright Oxford.

faux fur - Asos (old), retro coat - Topshop (old), houndstooth pencil skirt - ?, boots - Asos.

Library. Snapped these on my way home from the library. I did some work in the Vere Harmsworth this morning as I felt like a change from the Bodleian where I usually go. I'm trying to get as much of my dissertation done as I can before the semester starts up again as it is going to be crazy busy being my last semester. I can't believe I'm almost ready to graduate! Still no idea what I am going to end up doing, but I'll get there.

We finally had some sun in Oxford today as you can see by my squinting and frowning! It is still bloody cold though, hence the faux fur!

Comme ci, comme ça.

Hat - Bank, Tshirt - Asos, Trousers - Asos
Friday. Today I haven't done much, really need to get some dissertation work done as I'm supposed to be sending a chapter off to my supervisor soon. These are a couple of recent purchases from Asos - Comme ci comme ca tshirt and these amazing pair of black high-waisted tailored looking trousers. I found them in the sale and they only had a size 6 left so they are a bit of a squeeze but worth it!

I'm off to Manchester next weekend to visit a friend, anyone got any recommendations for what to see, shop, eat there?

My ASOS 'Saved' Items.

ASOS Allusion Leather Chelsea Shoe Boots in Tan

Style. If anyone has it, it's Asos. They have been my favourite one-stop style shop for years. What I love most about Asos is that they really do cater for everyone, regardless of shape, age, budget you can find something that suits your needs! My Asos 'saved items' is my favourite and least favourite thing. I love that I can save my favourite things to go back to and look at, esoecially if I'm too skint to buy them as soon as I see them, but it is a dangerous place as many things, many many things find their way there, and then of course, I want them all! Here are just a few of the things currently lingering in my 'saved items' list!

As I'm nosey, I'd love to know what you have stored away in your Asos 'saved items', so leave me a comment below (and provide links if you dare...).

Tuesday feels like Sunday.

Cape - Topshop (old), Faux Leather Jacket - Topshop (old), Playsuit - eBay, Tights - Primark, Boots - ASOS.

Outfit. Another year, another crack at photographing outfits. Actually, I used to do this a lot and the only reason I stopped was because I didn't have a camera at uni until about 6 months ago (making that 2 and half odd years without a camera!). So now I'm jumping back on the bandwagon and have swapped my tripod for my boyfriend to take pictures - he isn't too clued up on taking pics (and it's only a point and shoot!) So bare with that until he gets the hang of composition and lighting etc... (these took some editing!). If you would like to have a look at some of my previous outfit photos you can check out my Lookbook and possibly have a laugh as they are from a few years back!

FEDORA.

Hats. I have been enjoying hats recently and this fedora is my latest purchase, courtesy of the sales. It is the widest brimmed hat I have ever donned and as witchy as it looks, I rather like it.

Are you a fedora fan?

What I Want.

Burberry Coat

2014 Fashion. My new year's resolution to step outside my comfort zone definitely stretches to fashion. Being at uni in Oxford has really relaxed my style as most students dress super casually. When I first went to uni almost 3 years ago I was into 1940s style but gave it up pretty soon as I felt so overdressed wherever I went, even on nights out! Now that is all changing and I am getting back to wearing what I want, whatever I want!

WHAT'S IN MY BAG?

I did it, I made my first YouTube video that actually has me in it, talking to you! How awkward. I decided to do the classic What's in my bag? tag because it seemed like a super easy first video and they are always quite popular and I enjoy watching them. I have no idea why it is entertaining to see the contents of people's bags, perhaps we are all just really nosey, but hey, at least we can be nosey together!

Enjoy and subscribe if you like to see more videos because I am going to try and make more. I will upgrade the video quality soon, this was a bit of a tester to see if I liked it... I think the next videos will be vlogs.

23rd BIRTHDAY OUTFIT

1. Leather Jacket (mine is old from Topshop)
2. ASOS Hedley Sandals
3. Topshop Cream Blush
4. Purple Envelope Clutch (mine is actually a unique hand-painted retro looking one)
5. ASOS necklace
6. River Island Top and Skirt
7. Nude lipstick
8. Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
9. Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation

So it was my 23rd birthday yesterday (yikes!) and this is what I wore out in the evening for celebratory cocktails (passionfruit and vanilla mojitos, yum) and american diner style food. I got the necklace from my boyfriend for my birthday and the shoes I got for myself. I love the brightness, I wanted to go for something completely different and these are ideal for summer and holidays! They were £40 with my student discount which put me off for a while but a few days before my birthday I automatically went *click click click* and they were on their way to me! Oops! They are really comfy though which is good because I can wear them day or night and get my money's worth! With some birthday money I bought the matching top and skirt, I have been eyeing up these matching top and skirt sets which seem to be popular this summer. The picture doesn't do them justice at all, the material is a really nice texture and gives them a more expensive feel perfect for evening wear, but because they are separate I will be mixing and matching. The make up was pretty standard, I nipped into Superdrug and bought a cheap MUA lipstick in a nude colour and I'm actually really impressed with it, for a super cheap range the stuff is quite good!

A lovely birthday was had with my family and boyfriend at home (:
